All products sold by Vital Labs are supplied strictly as chemical reference materials for laboratory research use only (RUO). This notice forms a binding part of our Terms of Service. Please read it in full before ordering.
Products are not
- Drugs, medicines, natural health products, or medical devices;
- Approved, licensed, or authorized by Health Canada, the FDA, or any other regulatory authority;
- Intended for human or veterinary use of any kind, including ingestion, injection, inhalation, topical application, or any other route of administration;
- Intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or condition;
- Food, cosmetic, dietary supplement, or household chemical products.
Buyer obligations
By placing an order you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least the age of majority in your province or territory of residence;
- You are a qualified researcher, or are purchasing on behalf of a research institution, laboratory, university, or comparable organization, and are competent to handle research chemicals safely;
- You will use the products exclusively for legitimate in-vitro and laboratory research conducted by trained personnel in an appropriate facility;
- You will not administer the products to yourself, to any other person, or to any animal;
- You will not resell, repackage, or redistribute the products for human or veterinary consumption, nor represent them as fit for such use;
- You are solely responsible for determining that your purchase, possession, and use of the products complies with all laws applicable to you, including import, customs, and controlled-substance laws in your jurisdiction.
No medical or scientific advice
Nothing on this website — including product descriptions, cited literature, blog content, or correspondence with our staff — constitutes medical advice, a recommendation for human use, or a protocol for administration. We do not and will not provide dosing information, administration guidance, or any advice regarding use in humans or animals, and any such request will be declined.
Assumption of risk and indemnity
Handling research chemicals carries inherent risk. Buyer assumes all risk arising from receipt, storage, handling, and use of the products, and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Vital Labs, its officers, employees, and suppliers against any claim, loss, liability, or expense arising from Buyer's use or misuse of the products, or from Buyer's breach of these terms.
Right of refusal
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, at our sole discretion and without stated reason, including where we have grounds to believe the products may be diverted to human or veterinary use.
